    There are a stupid number of flags to find in Assassin’s Creed. I find killing the Templars about as fun as collection objective, but going for the flags… filler in place of actual content.

    The Last Remnant is actually very good. Well, so far. Seems almost as if someone mashed Final Fantasy XII with Final Fantasy Tactics but without most of the bad stuff. An elaboration would take too long. Also you can save anywhere. Also no levels.

    I want to get Prototype, but don’t really have the money. I’m not sure that Gears of War (so I haven’t played it until now, so sue me :-) and a borrowed copy of Assassin’s Creed are really filling the gap though.

    Just finished Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Had it sitting around for months since I picked it up, till I finished Lego SW and BiiF made me start it. Still don’t know if I really liked it, but it was amusing. Do I play/grind through again to max out my powah and do some achievement whoring? Do I buy some shitty overpriced DLC?

    It’s still fun to build vehicles in Banjo-Kazooie. I really thought I’d have the bases covered by now but turns out I didn’t have a suitable bulldozer. Monster wheels + 7 engines + lots of metal = win?

    Star Ocean: The Last Hope is not pissing me off so far, but then I liked Til The End of Time while in the first dungeon. Honestly the characters are, so far, all ridiculous, tired and annoying but I’m currently interested enough in the game mechanics to play it.

    Thanks to a mate coming over and wanting to co-op it, I got through those last 3 levels of Lego SW in time. Wil try the last 2 things tomorrow. Lego Indy and Batman can still go hang for a couple months though.

    Playing through the super story modes in Lego SW. Episode 3 has the best Starblade-clone I’ve played as the first part, and a really really shitty final level. 3 more to go then the stupid lego city levels. I’m so over it, but I’m catassing to 100% and the achievements for no good reason I can think of.

    Reached the Hell levels in The Darkness - this game deserves to be remembered more. Better atmosphere in this bit than in Bioshock, imo.

      I really really enjoyed The Darkness. One of the better FPS games. It gave you something more than just shooting. I was actually considering replaying it when my Xbox RRODed.

    Wheelman allows you to steal the car ahead of yours by simply tailing it and jumping to it. This feature should be in every gta clone in existence.

      Yes. Threw 5 hours at it so far. Great driving, reasonably sized map, lets you teleport to the bonus missions, not a lot of useless driving if you don’t want, and the unreal engine, curiously enough, works like a charm here, despite running from the disk. Lacks of polish here and there, so I’d recommend renting it first, partially because I don’t know how long it actually is.

    Finally bought Star Ocean: Last Hope. Played it for a few hours before I bought it; enjoyed it despite the actiony combat. WRU TURN BASED JRPGS!?!?! This has been the least fail of Square’s 360 titles.

    Started RE5 in co-op.. got to the first zombie fight. WTF? Endless waves of zombies, ran out of bullets in seconds, and the awesome controls mean you can’t really fight a rearguard while retreating. Will give it another go when less tired, but i’s not looking good for the game’s future in my place so far. Don’t think I care enough about this game to spend (much?any?) time figuring out the puzzles or replaying it on anything more than easy-mode. GameFAQs: here I come!

    Picked up RE5, LOTR:Conquest, FIFA09 on the weekend. JB Hi-fi was running a trade-2-games-and-get-RE5-for-free thing, and I had a spare copy of Rock Band. Big W had some ok games for cheap, so I picked up Devil May Cry 4 and 2 copies of TNA Impact, traded in for 2x RE5, then traded 1x RE5 for LOTR and some credit. If either LOTR or RE5 suck, I’ll have a ton of EB credit this time next week…
