Picked up Chrono Trigger DS again. Finished the rather boring Lost Sanctum and all 3 Temporal Vortexes to find that your reward is some badly written fan-fiction and a fight against Lavoschala who is barely harder than Phase 3 Lavos. Then there’s a really short cutscene and video that attempts to bridge CT to the AWFUL Chrono Cross. Lame.

I find myself more interested in watching other people play games than I do actually playing them. “Let’s Play” threads on Something Awful and tool-assisted speedruns on NESVideos have started consuming more time than my actual gaming. There’s just something enjoyable about watching someone completely destroy a game you had trouble with.

Realized I had only backed up very old saves. Very little motivation to start over. Sigh. Maybe I’ll make a swashbuckler this time around since the game seemed to hate my guts when I made a rogue.
